Baltimore City, in partnership with local non-profit and community organizations, will be hosting a resource festival at Mondawmin Mall on July 11, 2015. The aim of the event is to revitalize Mondawmin Mall and the surrounding communities by bringing the community together for a day of music, entertainment, and fun-filled activities and offering a wealth of resources and information about programs such as job training and opportunities for youth. This resource fair aims to go beyond merely providing information by encouraging providers to offer as many direct, on-the-spot services as possible.
There will be free food and drinks for everyone, lots of outside activities for youth - music, a well-known DJ and radio station sponsor, a National Guard Reserves obstacle course, 3 on 3 basketball games with the BPD, etc, etc. etc. The event starts at 10:00 and the Mayor and other dignitaries will welcome everyone at 10:30.
The event will run from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
